On November 20-21, 2014, the XIII Moscow Assembly “Health of the Capital” was held in the Moscow Government building. The event is a partner of the Moscow healthcare festival “Formula of Life.”

The Moscow Government, the Moscow City Health Department, the InfoMedFarm Dialog Information and Exhibition Agency.
The Assembly has the status of the annual final event of Moscow healthcare (Order of the Moscow Government No. 901-RP dated 29.05.2003).
Objectives
The introduction of the latest medical technologies and methodologies into the practice of Moscow medical institutions to improve the quality, effectiveness, and accessibility of the services provided. Summarizing and analyzing the experience of Moscow healthcare in order to promote activities in the field of disease prevention and protection of the health of the citizens of the Russian Federation.
Raising the professional level of doctors and medical staff; influencing the optimization of the education system and the training process for medical specialists. Increasing the prestige and responsibility of the medical profession.
Developing professional contacts between medical specialists, scientists, and practitioners from Moscow, the Moscow Region, regions of Russia, and other countries.
Within the framework of the Assembly, the following are held:
plenary sessions; scientific and practical conferences, seminars, schools for general practitioners, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, urologists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiorheumatologists, surgeons, infectious disease specialists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists, narcologists, neurologists and neurosurgeons, traumatologists, orthopedists, combustiologists, pulmonologists, phthisiologists and allergologists, oncologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, neonatologists, pediatricians, dentists, and other specialists; conferences on pressing issues of the state and development of healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry of the capital, compulsory health insurance, and the organization of specialized medical care.
Exhibition:
Within the framework of the Assembly, the exhibition “New Quality of Medical Services and Pharmaceutical Supply for the Population of Moscow” is organized. The exhibition will feature manufacturers and distributors of medicines, medical equipment, medical products for preventive and therapeutic purposes, healthcare institutions of the city of Moscow, rehabilitation centers, cultural and wellness institutions and companies presenting products and services to the capital’s population, and specialized literature, information technologies.
Results
Results of the XII Moscow Assembly “Health of the Capital” in 2013:
2 plenary sessions and 49 scientific and practical conferences were held; 326 presentations were delivered. A total of 4,625 participants attended the events, of whom 4,250 were from Moscow, 206 from the Moscow Region, and 169 from nearby regions, which confirmed the relevance of the issues discussed and the interest in this event as one of the leading annual events in Moscow and Russia in the field of healthcare.
